1024x768 looks a bit rubbish, 1280x1024 is not my aspect ratio and 1600x1200 runs like crap :tsktsk:
Is there any way to get 1152x864 or 1280x960?

:laff: Sorry, I shouldn't laugh...but what people consider a 'rubbish' resolution today is pretty ridiculous. Drop it down to 640 x 480 for awhile and then pop it back to 1024 x 768, it will look better then. No wonder card manufacturers make a mint off of gamers.

Turn up the AA a bit if it really bugs you that much. I think you need to turn off bloom to do that.
I have to play Doom 3 at 800x600, and it's still occasionally choppy. T3 runs acceptably well at 1024x768, though.
My monitor supports up to 2048x1536, but I don't expect I'll ever run a game at that resolution.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein will run at ridiculous resolutions. And the performance isn't bad.

I don't usually play very high performance games, so am used to 1152x864 minimum, usually 1280x960. I've been playing with 1024x768 and it's not actually that bad, mainly because it's so freakin dark.

ofcourse, the reason to up the resoultion is try and shrink the bloody massive console - the really disturbing thing is that thiefds is DESIGNED to be played at 640x480 or 800x600 on a TV! Inceasing the resoultion doesn't really have the desired effect - it is not like you will be pick off enemies a few pixels tall at the end of the a really long corridor, because that situation never exists.
