Strip me of everything else, but NOT my blackjack. The one drunkard guard is maddening since I can't knock him to the floor where he can sleep it off :ebil:

Also available over at Southquarter (compressed):[...]
This mission contains also German language support, like Ziemanskye said, just if someone wanted to add this to the (
http://southquarter.com/files/) list (and if it is actually possible to write more than two abbreviations into that column).
By the way, compressed version also crashed, but the other one worked fine. Mission complete. :thumb:

Awesome Mission, I had loads of fun ghosting this !
Very well thought out map, one has to be really attentive to succeed without loading too much.
And it's pretty - good use of textures and a lot of details.
:D

Hi,
Anyone give me a hint please. I've found the key and think I've found the safe
in the dungeon
but what do I do?.
Frobbing the control pillar has no effect and makes no sound. The individual buttons don't appear to be pressable.
Just wandering around aimlessly at the moment - nice textures, but gameplay?????
Ah NVM, just found out what to do.

I'm glad you like it, but even though I made it I'm not sure I agree on the "well thought out" bit. Story was an after-thought, gameplay not much better (even for KC7 it was going to be a must-ghost), and most of the rooms were made more to fill the space for Komag's 7th than because I knew what I was building, at least before I moved and rearranged stuff...
But the point ultimately was to release something pretty and simple, which I think I've succeeded at it. :thumb:

Well, for example it was tricky in a nice way to get that key by balancing on those transparent walls and grabbing down to get it without falling from the edge.
And the ghosting:
In many maps there are loads and loads of guards, so ghosting is kind of ... slow ... repetitive and tenacious , without much change in pace.
Your mission feels more realistic : it's night, and the place is almost empty. But if one is tempted to rush through you are going to be busted , because there are npc's sitting and walking around in tight spots or in positions where they can see the player easily first.
Of course, ghosting IS easy here, but you have to be careful though.
If I know where everything is I can complete the mission in under 3 minutes, but when one plays serious (trying not to use save/load) and for the 1st time it's not that easy - it took me a hour to get through.
Exactly the right recipe for a nice quick but good thief-trip just before bedtime ...
I only wished T3 had those scouting orbs ...
Oh, and I liked the, ehm, setting of that room right before the vault. Gentlemans Club, hehe. It's those little things which can boost the atmosphere of an mission above average.
