You can't play a level because there's no blackjack? Interesting, but it also means you're two of my levels down... Oh well. I honestly don't know if my next level (this infamously over-delayed Cabal thingy) is going to have one or not at this point.
It probably will, but I don't know yet.
And I have no idea if it's possible to change the inventory based on difficulty level: I'll have to try remember to look into that - have an "easy" mode for (fellow) tourists and just leave "normal" for I actually intend things to be played. Still - one thing I do know is that you can build things into FMs quite easily to make NPCs disappear on easy/normal mode (hard/extreme use the same set, though you could easily hack the script to alter them there too), so I might consider doing something like having an "explore" mode instead of "easy", especially if people think it's something they might be interested in.
(I know I am: I'm usually more interested in exploring the art than outwitting the guards or hording loot or whatever)

Hi Ziemanskye,
would you reconsider rereleasing the missions you have created so far ?
I had some terrible problems with all three of them.
Keep in mind that I am using GarrettLoader, which comes with the required T3.Main, etc.
With 'Two Steps' and 'Impurities In The Mix' GarrettLoader was crashing because they included T3.exe and T3Main.exe
Even worse: this left behind my T3 install unusable. :p
With the *.exe deleted , GarrettLoader would run them just FINE (I deleted the backup.zip included as well).
I guess EVERYBODY is using GarrettLoader, so this should be ok.
Nice missions, by the way! :D
Right now I have been struggling with 'Hearts and Minds' for more than 3 hours.
GarrettLoader would crash with 'subscript out of range : 9', which basicly means : too many files to backup (the files from the Original Thiefs missions are meant here)
Playing around a bit, I used 'Scooters Beyond Compare' - a great tool to compare folders and files real quick.
I figured out that 'Hearts and Minds' includes A LOT of files (~2000) that exactly match with what I have on my system anyway. :cool:
Once I deleted these obsolete files, the mission gets loaded and even starts ALLRIGHT !
I wonder if all these files really need to be included. :cheeky:
Simply trying to unzip this mission did not work either, since it would crash while T3 loads the mission (for whatever reason). :eww:
Haven't found the time to play it yet, though.
I am looking forward to play it tomorrow! :joke:
Please send me a PM, in case you want to see the resulting ZIPs or so.
Just to be precise: I did not alter any byte within these missions. I just deleted some files. :angel:
Please continue creating missions ! :thumb:
Greetings, gnartsch

I think it's an issue of GarrettLoader. Try uninstalling and re-installing it. That worked for me.

Thanks for the tip!
I posted these issues on some GL-thread, too.
Hopefully GL will see some updates as well.
Still I wonder if the author would consider stripping down these 3 missions.
I haven't seen any other missions so far that try to ship some .exe or thousands of files in the
CONTENT\T3\TRIGGERSCRIPT\
folder.

Okay, I got the code and the key....but I can't seem to find the vault.
I looked everywhere and I've been walking in circles for quite some time >_>
And I saw someone mentioned something like a dungeon or a room before the actual vault...maybe I am blind or dumb, but I just can't find it o_O
Can somebody please guide me or give me a tip ?

I had a really hard time finding the vault as well. I might as well post its location since I still have this thread open.
In the hallway outside the pool and the boiler room there is a doorframe with some sort of red and white curtain in it. There is also a blue guard rope that is partially knocked over in front of this doorway. Pass through the curtain and you'll find the path to the vault. There is also a second entrance via a secret door in a room with some statues on display.

Stats:
* Expert difficulty
* 20 minutes
* 0 hints needed
Elements I liked:
* The map is quite beautiful. I like the variety of textures and the level of detail in the rooms.
* Forced ghosting, but it always felt fair.
* The area where the safe is hidden was a nice surprise.
Elements that could be improved:
* I would have liked some journals, something to give the Rue Due Maine Officer's Club some personality beyond being pretty.
* There are panels with buttons next to the safe, but you don't have to mess with them after you found the codes. You simply click on the safe and it opens. I would have appreciated more direct interaction with the game world, like entering the codes by hand.
* Some rooms look good but feel a bit empty because they don't contain any AI or items for the player to interact with.
* After the stats screen, the game loads and players are then placed into a black void they have to menu out of. Authors of previous T3 fan missions had already figured out how to bring the player back to the title menu.
