9/10
A must-play for every Thief fan who loves puzzles and dark atmosphere.
There isn't much AIs in the mission, but it's LARGE (for TDS map it's just huge) and design and atmosphere are GREAT (inspired by Constantine's mansion BTW). Lots of quests and sophisticated scripting(!). It's really an achievement in T3 mission building, especially considering that it's one of the very first released T3FMs, and already I consider it on a par with best official T3 missions, actually I think only the Cradle is better.
It can be slow in some places but I almost guarantee that those who like puzzles will stop to pay attention to that fact because of entertainment and immersion.
A few advices:
-The mission is DARK, use zoom function as night goggles when you don't see a thing.
-Play on Expert 0-damage style (don't kill anyone) [ for maximum entertainment :) ]
-Try to solve it yourself, don't ask for help everytime you stuck a bit! Play attentively instead.
ascottk, I hope you'll release another FM soon :thumb:

I have a few ideas for other maps that tie into the Labyrinth (which is the last map of this mini-campaign) but first I'd like to do some tweaking ;)

ascottk, I would hope that once you do your next FM and ShadowSpawn has the IBT re-compiler working that your FMs are released as a complete set, same for Ziemanskye's townhouse series.

Great, I didn't know it was supposed to be one of the missions in a mini-compaign.
If you are going to release a patch (which would be better of course, but I don't know if it's possible) or new version of this missions, I have a suggestion: you should do something with sky texture. Maybe you don't see it because of flat screen monitor, but on CRT monitor I can clearly see strange darker spots around each star, moon looks great. Also, something wrong is with background texture, I mean the City, it looks like the texture overexposed or something like that.
ascottk, I have some questions about the story:
1)Who is really that mystic Lady Laremel and sleeper, why they lived in the masion?
2)Who is zombie in the hidden room? [architect perhaps?]
3)Why architect in his journal called baron Lucio? [false name for Neuvais?]
4)Why Dameus brought Krellek to this mansion? Had it already been abandoned by Baron?
Finally questions about the story! The baron lucio was probably the first name I gave him & forgot to revise due to extensive bug fixing & revisions.
I often wondered about some of the history & why things are at their current state. Once again due to bug fixing & revisions I forgot to expand on them. Working with the *.sch text files is a major pain so they are last on the my list to revised and the book editing tools (one's alpha & the other seems to be abandoned) do not help a lot.

Well it was my first though, then I thought that's a false name.

A bit strange to hear that from the FM author himself :)))))))

Is ver 0.9 finishable ??? I played the older one with the statue that would not take the goblet thing and quit that to play .9 and have got as far as waking the sleeper and here comes 1.0. Jeeezzzz. I dont want to go back and start again if it is not necessary. But I dont want to continue if .9 is screwed up too. Let me know. Is 1.0 working if .9 isnt.

I just fixed that for 1.1 (uploading now).

I might save more of the history for the first two maps. For now you could use your imagination :sly:

I'm uploading 1.1 at the moment so you could probably wait until later today or tomorrow. I think both 0.9 & 1.0 are finishable. The only version that was unfinishable was 0.7.

Well now I have some questions about gameplay:
1) I found 91% of the loot, can't imagine where can be the rest of it as I played quite meticulously. Is there any loot in the labytinth & Krellek's secret area?
2) In the N-W secret corridor, before hidden room with a switch that opens passageway to Krellek there is a place that looks like another secret door, I couldn't open it. After I triggered the switch I couldn't return to the door anymore because of a wall that appeared in the corridor. So, is there any other hidden room in the N-W corridor except room with the switch?
3) There are some inactive doors in the Kerellek's hall, are they just for decoration?
4) What are three ways in the Mansion? I found only two.
5) And at last, where is the rope arrow ? Please tip me about its whereabouts.
Shaz, you need only one fire arrow to release the "corners". You just have to fire at the right spot on either coil.
