Man, I really wish I could play this. . unfortunately, I can't get Thief DS to play on the computer I have now. :(

, sorry but I am not going to update my mission any more. First of all, I don't have your bug, so I simply don't know where to start improving. Secondly, you didn't give me enough information about it: in what places exactly you have it? when? in what moment exactly you saved? have you tried to load the same save once again? TDS spoils saves rather often, so maybe, it is not my fault at all.

Fresh clear reinstall of TDS can help. Also you can skip GarrettLoader. Steps in detail:
1) uninstall the game and delete both its folders (with the game and with saves). Also you may check the register for mistakes.
2) install TDS again, but the pass to it should have NO SPACES (for example, "D:\GAMES\Thief3\")
3) patch the game to version 1.1 (if you need it, of case). The patch is here (thanks to The Dark Fate): (

4) replace the exe-files with files from here (thanks to The Dark Fate): (

5) run the game, load the inn and make a save.
6) unpack the mission strait into the game's folder and add the content of the file "user_patch.ini" into the file "user.ini" manually (it's in the main folder).
7) start the game by pressing the exe-file named "t3.exe" (it is into ...\System subfolder).
ADDED LATER:
Forgot to say! Self-evident advantage of this method is avoiding many types of bugs. But this method has it's weak point too: you'll have to re-install TDS every time for installing next fan-mission. I mean, GarrettLoader is created to take care about this problem without bothering you. But by skipping GL you'll have to think about such things by yourself. It's easy: all you need to do is simply to repeat actions - all the steps from number 1 to 7 once again.Ravenhook on 18/10/2010 at 14:56

hey guys i just started the mission and it seems really awesome, nice work guys, however i cant select any of the new arrows like vodka and darkness and such, i have tried all the number keys and none of them get selected. anyone know what im doing wrong? the regular arrows like broadhead and noisemaker show up ok but i dont know how to access the new ones

The special arrows cannot be selected by the numbers. The just scroll until you find the correct one as Ravenhook suggested. This makes the usage of Vodka arrows tricky but you will get used to it. Select the arrow with scroll and after you hit the victim, press "1" quickly for the blackjack and smack him in the face.

There is already a hint about it. You can buy a help from the Thieves Guild for 3000g at the Pagan shop. After that you will find a member of the Guild next to the fountain in the Riverside station. He will give you the ticket.

Sure, I am. Moreover, I'm working over a tutorial about making such a robot in TDS. But I'm a bit tired right now, so I'll have a rest and wait till all the Cabal's missions will be released.
