I don't understand what exactly you're looking for. But anyway, you're not inside
the Loading Area now. The place, that you're describing, is
the Storage. The
wall switch, that
elkston is talking about, is in the
Assembly Workshop room. It is at the other side of
the Loading Area.
By the way, every room in the factory is signed by metal doorplates. Look at the top of door cases to see it.

the lever can be used from the other side only.
You need to find your way there from another direction - not from the Storage.Trace back
to a room with hugh machinery and find your way.Look for

Very basic. I've done everything I can in the original area where all the hanging bodies are. I must be missing something , can someone give me a clue how I get out and move into another area? Thanks.
p.s So no one knows then! As I'm fairly new to Thief 3 just thought there was something I should know about getting into other areas that I was perhaps missing. Maybe across the roofs? NOW FOUND IT

Hi!
I currently playing with this mission. I am on the rooftops, near the burning buildings.
My objective is: "find anything, what is help me the breath, and go throught the burning
buildings somehow".
If I climb down the chimney, the smoke is suffocate me. I cannot find any thing, what is help
the breathing.
I have no idea!
Please help!

I would like to ask a question.in part of the hammerfactory there is an altar and three huge iron crosses are on the rear of the platform.at the foot of the left hand stairs and behind one of the crosses there is a metal plate?...does that plate open?..it looks odd to be there so is it a secret?..could you just answer yes it opens,or no it does not open and I will search more
Also ....I am at the riversideI have put the oars on the boat,what is next,as nothing happens after I put the oars on...where do I go now?
OK I am answering myself here....I wandered around.... and after a while went back outside of this area,to the stream/river and frobbed a drain pipe grille and entered into the black market store,there I bought some keys and arrows.I returned to the riverside area and met a guy by the fountain who gave me a ticket for the boat...this may help other aimless wanderers

So it is not a secret.
