Great Mission - the first T3 FM that has really absorbed me! However I'm stuck:

I have found the lever and know where it goes. Trouble is I click on the 'stump' by the gate and nothing happens. Cannot find the master key and don't know where to use it either. Can anyone help?

Also I removed a keyfrom a priest patrolling the lecture hall. Any idea what to use it on? Doesn't work on the trunk with the strange lock nor on the grid gates under the floor. Any ideas anybody?

You can crash this bookshelf using the dagger, too. In addition, you can go to the other side of the bookshelf without destroying it. There is an alternative path - through a corridor without floor (big explosion crashes it) and a burning staircase.

The safe on the top floor in the burning building can be opened with a hidden lever. Examine the bookshelves nearby.

....yeah....I really, really stayed up too late yesterday. The item was already in my inventory and yet was still running around looking for it for over an hour, because my sleepy brain registered that house as Lady Godiva's only...so, of course, the property deed wasn't going to be found there! Thus I never checked my inventory...

Moral: Sleep is good. Hah. Onwards!

There's a passage in the nearest to the loading area shaft in the floor. This passage is closed with a grid with a lock. Use the master-key at this grid.

Draigcoch.....you are "using" the items, you have to have the item selected by using the [ ] keys and then use the i key to "use" not the mouse button...I made the same mistake until I twigged...there is...a fuse later on that you might have trouble with, you will have to step back a little before it will engage....great game though. Hope that helps you.
Thanks for that pwyll...I'm going to play it again, slower, now I know that there's no timer and try a different route here and there.:thumb:

Oof, stumped again! How do I get out of the burning building? I've found 3 elevators (one doesn't work even after applying the fuse), I've been up and down the burning staircase, the bar area, and the balcony next to the trapped lady. Reading through spoilers, people mention a safe... and unless the safe is a pickable (on Normal) chest upstairs, I haven't found that, either.

What am I missing?

Shaz..this may sound silly but...go back into the burning room and try the other elevator again, I did it out of desperation after going up to the rooftop bar and then up the burning grand staircase and found that I must have triggered something because the lift worked and allowed me to go up...watch the floor, look at the ceiling BEFORE you get into the elevator...its charred in one place;)
