I have completed everything but it still has "Do not let mercier escape alive" in Objectives. What am I doing wrong. By the way fun mission. Loved it. Not too hard and not too easy.

Is Mercier still alive? Frequently, after the war between Mercier and the Over Warden has started, one or the other of them doesn't get killed and Garrett has to finish them off. :p

I think so. Is he not the one that was asleep in the Admin building with the safe? If so then I killed him. If not then no.

No, don't kill the man sleeping in Admin! You'll fail the mission. Mercier and the Over Warden are in the room that the courier leads you to after you follow him. They are dressed in special clothes and have plumes on their hats.

Using the item from inventory should work if you're close enough to the target object for it to highlight. If you still can't get it to work, could you please give me info on your system and installation, please? Also, what program did you use to install the FM?

As you may see both the objects are highlighted, I've tried in any manner, even attached to the objects but no way.
Win XP SP3, Cabal mission installed on TDS vanilla installation (made start the game before, in order to set the registers) with GarrettLoader. I'm using the massimilianogoi's widescreen patch v.2.

I've tried both using it as object inventory[...]
You mean as if using a flashbomb for instance, right? That's the right way to go. I cannot think of anything else than a bug in the map itself or that you didn't find some sort of sweet spot. This is a scripting issue inside the map, so I fear neither GL or any other patches you applied to TDS can be the case. Vertical synchronisation has caused a few problems with ingame mechanics like ladder climbing or lock picking, but unless we're about to discover something entirely new, the bug is inside the map or not there. Have you tried starting the mission anew or from an older savegame?
