Same room where you pulled the lever to free the Keepers. Look behind the crates.

Good mission BTW, I liked the first one the best. Who would have thought you could cram so much to do and see into such a small area, just outside Garrett's doorstep. Wonderful. It was very interactive, the brew up a 'medicine' for the thief, for example.

Since you edited your post, I guess that means you found the key before I could reply. :cool:
I'm glad you enjoyed the mission. I agree that the first one was outstanding! :thumb:

Hello,
I'd like to report a conjectural bug with the courier, it is the same thing that Elusive One experienced. I follow him to his destination and everything goes fine, until he enters the chamber. Then he screams "He was murdered!", "Don't kill me" or "I better find some help" (it depends on something I cannot understand) and runs downstairs. I suppose his reaction is triggered by the appalling sight of a corpse (but I didn't manage to check out who this poor guy is, or was). Finally, my objective about spying on him to make sure the Over-Warden receives the incriminating papers fails. What do I do wrong? I tried not to enter the corridor next to the chamber, with no success. Then I rushed after the courier into the room, but the objective was failed again. Unfortunately, that trick with the torch that Elusive One suggested does not solve my problem. I must have definitely screwed something up; the game cannot just fail without a reason. Or maybe there is an unnoticed bug? I thank you in advance for assistance. I neither knock-out nor kill any opponents and nobody found me. Here's what I have already done:
- I switched the electricity off and freed the Keepers - with success;
- I found that doll and delivered it to Sarai;
- I found St. Brecket's relics;
- I opened that secret door in the wine cellar;
- I doused Keeper books (previously set on fire) in the courtyard.
Which objectives I still have:
- Do not Mercier get out alive;
- Do not let the Over-Warden escape with his life;
- Once you have the incriminating papers, make sure the Over-Warden receives them;
- Deliver Mercier's journal to Gravius;
- Find Mercier's scales;
- Find Baron's antique.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. Best regards!

The only thing I can think of that would cause this problem would be if someone in the meeting had died accidentally. Unfortunately, the only way to fix it would be to revert to a previous save; possibly to before you entered the estate area. :(

Replaying this terrific mission...I have not been able to find...the Barons Ritual Room...I have the...key that was in Mercier's desk drawer...But I cannot figure where to go next...all the main objectives are complete and this is one of the loose ends that I have never been able to complete.:D:D

It should be one floor down from the room where you found the key.

Thanks for the assist, of course it's obvious after you have been helped...I must have passed that by umpteen times.

in this mission, I can not open the doors of the cell, of course you press down the lever but cell is opened. I have a bag with weapons as well. You can open the cell differently than the lever?:confused:

If you're talking about the door I think you are, it can't be opened. There's another way in.
