What range of Audigy is it? I seem to remember those settings not being enabled on my system too. I believe the earlier cards might not be supported...although it could just be something to do with the configuration on your system. I believe you can go into the default ini and force enable the settings somehow..but I don't exactly remember where. Create a backup of your default.ini file from the Thief 3 install folder and then poke around in there to see if you can find the setting. Your results may vary, and it might be very glitchy. worth a shot though.

i cant tell you which actually model is because my diagnostic program doesnt gives me full specification. but ill try to do something with .ini settings as you said.

You should also find the Audigy Model either in Device Manager or in the Multimedia panel in Control Panel. Also please tell us which driver version you have and which operating system.

well all i can see is 'creative sound blaster live 24-bit audigy'. driver version is 5.12.1.514 and driver date is 2007-06-13. i use windows xp home edition 2002 version with service pack 3.
btw - i cant force those options in .ini file. my skills arent good enough.

OKay, that's what I thought. The 2007 drivers don't support EAX properly. Try the 2006 drivers instead - the ones which are not for windows vista yet. But remember to completely uninstall the old drivers before.

ok ill check it.

There isn't a lot of skill involved in it. Just open the default.ini in wordpad and snoop around. Like I said though, make a copy of the file before making any changes...that way, you can always restore your original file.
As long as you have a backup, you can be fearless and experiment to your hearts desire.
The pertinent settings are
UseHWMixing__p=0
UseEAX__p=0
EAXMultipleEnvironments__p=0
Whichever settings you want enabled, set them to 1.
No guarantee it will work, but that's the brute force version.

i did what you said new horizon but dont see any difference in game, and those options are still unavialable in settings menu. but after installing 2006 drivers im finally able to use them.
