Good job Gazchap. The tweaker looks very professional.
Are you going to include options to resize lightgem, compass, selectable item icon, and health meter? Also, are you going to include the remove of the blue glow behind the item icon in there as well? I think those are very important tweaks for PC users to fully enjoy the game, to make it look mature if you will.
Once again, thank you for your work.

System\T3UISoup.ini
CONTENT\T3\Books\English\HelpText.sch

They do indeed exist in the Demo I have. :thumb:

I'm also getting the "Component 'MSCOMCTL.0CX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" error.
I did download the VB6runtimes thinking perhaps that was it, alas no luck after installing them however (Reinstall of Tweaker didn't help here either).
Installed into E:/Programs/Thief3 (Tweaker install found it)
Althon XP 1600
XP Pro SP1 w/rollup 1
G4 ti4200 - newest omega drivers
Program is looking cool, thanks and keep up the good work, Gaz. Can't wait to try it! :D

Is there any way you could possibly make this interact with DXTool? Maybe just have DXTool import XML batch operations? That way, you could have it do things like the reduced-size loot glint or the frob highlight texture replacement.
gazchap on 4/6/2004 at 08:03
I'd have to take a look at DXTool, but it should be possible :)
Most of the tweaks that are in the Tweak Guide will eventually be included, so that includes resizing the health meters and lightgems etc :)
Thanks to those who have mirrored it as well - can you please keep an eye on this thread so that you can get updated versions as and when they come? :)

You might be wise to put in brackets somewhere that the frob tweak messes up 3rd person colours, n00bs won't realise that.

I'm having the "Component 'MSCOMCTL.0CX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" error as well on a XP machine with SP1.
However keep going with your enthusiastic work on this. :thumb:

I'll include MSCOMCTL.OCX in the installer with the next version, I presume that the version I'm developing with is different to that included with XP, but it shouldn't make a difference as its only the sliders used from it and they've been in VB since forever ;)
Good point re. the frob tweak - I didn't realise it had that drastic an effect.
