If you import John P.'s textures with DXTool, it'll correctly alter the color of the frob highlight.

Thanks for the tweaker. However I got a problem: Since I installed it, all fonts have disappeared. No briefings, no scrolls. I've also been fooling around with the sound settings in default.ini, but I don't think this can be the problem here. Any suggestions?

I'm sure Myagi's frob-patcher auto-detects whether its a demo version too?
Yeah it detects if it's the demo version. For those that still want to use it with the known side effects.

Very strange. I'm almost positive thats not an issue with the tweaker - have you modified the Font Options on the Menu tab?
Try the Restore Defaults button, which should restore the game to how it was before you installed the tweaker.

Feedback;
Menu: Changing the font size at the moment doesn't do us much good on the menu screens, because it still only shows the same number of lines, and the load game menu still only shows three game entires, spaced way apart. I have no idea, of course, if it's possible to change any of this, but simply shrinking the font without letting you see more text on the screen doesn't make alot of sense. I just hope there's a way to add more visable lines. :thumb: Also, a "show only tips" is a viable option.
Hud/Interface: I have some problems with this screen. For one, buttons for ON and OFF without any indication of if they're actually on or off could better be replaced with maybe a slider with only two positions (on and off) ... no? That way we can clearly see what we've set it to, and the Arrow Trails option can even have a middle selection. And the titles for these sections would be better as just "Loot Glint" for example, with on being on, and off being off. I know this goes against what I said before, but the way it's set up here, it makes more sense to not use the double-negative. :erm: If we're going to go with the "tweak on, tweak off" mentality, maybe this whole menu section should be re-thought to be more intuative?
Frob Color: What would /really/ help here is if it actually showed what the default RGB value actually is, so that we can just tweak it a -little- if we want. As is, you have to take blind shots in the dark if you want to get it close to what it actually is in the game, and then adjust it just a tad.
Thank you :)

Thanks for the feedback Digi.
I agree with regards to the font sizes - I'm sure there is a way of increasing the number of visible lines, I'm positive its in the Tweak Guide too. What would you prefer - being able to control both the size and the number of lines individually, or having the number of lines automatically change based on the font size?
As for your other suggestions, its not that easy unfortunately. I asked Myagi if it was possible to "read" the current state of the various options from the game and unfortunately it doesn't appear to be, so you just have to make wild "stabs in the dark". I could save out the setting to the T3Tweak.ini as and when you click the buttons, but then if you run Myagi's patches independently of the tweaker in the future then it may be inaccurate so I don't want to do that.
If someone can clue me in on the default colour values for T3 then I can set those to be the defaults in the tweaker.
I'll be updating the main post soon with the link to v1.1 - which has no new features but includes MSCOMCTL.OCX (and is 500K larger as a result of it :( ) and a LOT more error checking so hopefully people will be able to give me some meaningful error messages (my fault for leaving that out really!!!)

I think it should be automatic. Seeing more lines of information is the main reason why one would want to shrink down the font, so it's a reasonable assumption I think that noone wants to bother shrinking the fonts AND trying to figure out how many lines they can now display. You'd be able to figure out the correct combinations and just hard-code them into the app.
But that's a tweak I'd absolutely use. What about moving the save-game lines closer together so that we can see more than three at once? Possible as well?
Could you also do me a big favor and send me a PM every time there's a new release? As a big proponent of this app's development, I'd like to be in the loop every step of the way. :)

OK, new version 1.1 is out - check main post for the link (same as before really)
