Any progress?
edit: my personal list of awaited tweaks:
"Remove the word "nothing" from item / weapon selection"
"Smaller light gem and health meter"
The tweaks you seek are in my Minimalist Project. I'm just finishing up a few tests on the installer as we speak. I should have it released sometime today. :)

Yeah, I know your project, I think I'll try it out. :)

I'll have the finished installer ready for download in a day or two. You might want to wait until then. I'm just waiting for John P. to assemble the installer for me. Be warned, the minimalist project does adjust a few things with Thief Deadly Shadows. I personally found the game too easy, so I made some adjustments to all the difficulty levels, prices of objects and the amount of gear Garrett starts with and can carry.
I game feels much harder to me. :) I still haven't finished the game, I just can't play it until I get the project out there for all to download.

Will hopefully have a new version out soon. Been unable to keep on top of things with whats been going on recently.
Still, I've passed my driving test now and once my 1st wedding anniversary passes by next week I'll have plenty of time to continue with this project :)

:thumb: Gazchap, I think your Thief Tweak is great. It would be nice if you could incorporate all the tweaks that are in the Tweak Guide. That way the individual can pick and choose exactly what he/she wants without making sweeping wholesale changes. As in the Minimalist Project, a very great effort in itself, which makes far more changes than I would like for myself.

Great effort! Looking forward to seeing more features. :)
Being able to switch stuff on and off like that is awesome. What I would love to see as a feature is t3playeranims stuff, then [difficulty] settings. Also the guard animation stuff by New Horizon in his minimalist projekt are very interresting.
Okay that is all. ;)

I think you posted on the Ionstorm board about Guard Animations. What is different about the animations? I haven't touched any of the animations for guards in the game.

My mistake then. Since you posted that you had made the animations more 'thief like' I assumed you meant the guards actual animations. When I tried your mod I thought I briefly saw a guard doing a sword 'angarde' stance from Thief 1/2... So I assumed thats what you had done.

Ahhh, I see. Sorry, I should have been more specific. I only adjusted certain Garrett animations to make them smoother and make them more like the old games.

Just to be a quibbler... it's 'en guard'. It's french. Two words that mean, roughly, here we go or 'ready to fight.' :)
