I recently got a TNT2 (Creative 3D Blaster TNT2 / 32MB, that is) in my old PII-400. I had already heard about the problems with Direct3D-cards, so I patched DX to version 1.112f (at least I thinks so. If this patch doesn't exist, it's something quite similar). Then I ran it for the first time.<br />The resolution was set to 800x600, but the performance wasn't good enough, so I decided to decrease it to 640x480. That I did - the answer was a complete crash. The monitor changed to standby, the computer didn't respond - the music was still playing, though.<br />I tried this like 10 times now, in safe mode, in normal mode, reinstalled DX, reinstalled the old video card drivers, downloaded reference drivers, downloaded the appopriate drivers from the Creative Labs page, everything.<br />I played DX before, with my Voodoo 2 (Creative Labs 3D Blaster Voodoo 2 / 12MB), without any problem whatsoever. Can anybody hint me what to do?
