* Put the T2 game CD (CD2, the orange one) in your CD drive.
* Go to "My Computer", right-click your CD drive, and select "Explore".
* Go to the THIEF2 directory on the CD, then scroll down until you find a file called "motiondb.bin".
* Copy the file into your main Thief2 directory on your hard drive. When it asks whether you want to overwrite the file or something, answer yes.
Thanks Tomi, .... and here is my first problem : I can't find the folder "My Computer" anywhere :eww:
If I put in the CD you mentioned, I get a couple of options: None of them lead me to the right place.
I checked out my computer explorer to find the "My Computer" folder, but no success.
I know I'm missing something, but I can't figure out what right now.

Try this Gloria : Start menu> control panel> look to the left on that page, and you should see my computer. The other method is: put your cd in the drive, and then scroll down your address bar to the drive letter of your cd drive.
Or, try this: put the cd in the drive, and then go to search: motiondb.bin. It should find the one in your T2 directory, and also the one one the cd. Once it finds it, double click on the address for the Cd, and copy, and paste the motiondb.bin to your desktop. Double click on the line that reads T2 . Copy and paste the motiondb.bin into the T2 directory You would see : Thief2_2Z (D) or whatever your cd drive letter is.

"My Computer" isn't actually a folder, I guess that's why you didn't find it in the search. If you're using Windows in Dutch language, then "My Computer" is obviously called something else (Mijn Computer?)
When you put on the T2 CD on your CD drive, a loading screen with different options will probably pop up after a while, but you can just ignore and close it.
One way to open "My Computer" is to hold down the Windows Key + E on your keyboard. (the Windows Key has the Windows flag on it and says "start", and is most likely located between Ctrl and Alt, at least on my keyboard!)
Or just follow darthsLair's advice above. :p
After you've located motiondb.bin on your T2 CD, you will also need to locate the Thief 2 folder on your hard drive (probably C:\Games\Thief 2 or something) in the same way, and copy the file there. Let us know if you need more help.

Hi Gloria, Just unzip this to your T2 Directory, and it will overwrite your corrupted one.

Thanks all :thumb: It worked, although I don't know how all of a sudden these "things" happen.

Yet again, another question :ebil:
How is it that I can't see the healthbar on the left of my screen?
Somme missions I do, but mostly I cannot see the bar.

I believe that the health shields are set by the dark.cfg file located in your T2 directory. If you have had to clean up files left over after a darkloader or garrettloader crash of sorts, then more than likely a Dark.cfg (Custom) may still remain in your directory. Do the same thing mentioned above for the Dark.cfg, as you did for your motiondb.bin. You should find it in your Cd #2 (Game cd) Copy and paste and let the fresh one overwrite your buggy one.
