Wow... it's been... a very long time.
Anyway, my question is about the voices in the Life of the Party mission in Thief 2. I remember back in the day that the voices for the two sets of guards arguing were different than what was in the full game. I also remember liking the demo voices more. Is there any way to import the demo voices into the full game somehow?
Thanks in advance for any help. I totally understand if it isn't possible.

The filenames in question in the subfolders within the snd.crfs (which are renamed *.zip files) are different so there is no overwriting (which would make it easy), so making copies of the relevant demo files, matching the names, and overwriting the current files will do it, as long as you have a zip program that allows you to do that and not break anything. People who play the demo first prefer the dev vs. actor/artist voices, and people who played the full game prefer both voices done by the actor/artist. :p Funny how we never forget our first.
The relevant Demo folders are GUARD1 and THIEF1--
--and correlate to the relevant full game folders guard1 and Guard5.
The demo's GUARD1 folder's files correlate to the full game guard1's files thusly:
SG4C0101 > sg11101A
SG4C0103 > sg11101C
SG4C0105 > sg11101E
SG4C0107 > sg11101G
The demo's THIEF1 folder's files correlate to the full game Guard5's files thusly:
TH3C0102 > sg51101B
TH3C0104 > sg51101D
TH3C0106 > sg51101F
TH3C0108 > sg51101H

I usually use 7zip. Will that work, or will I need something else?

I couldn't tell you, but some FM author could. Maybe this thread could be moved to the Editors' Guild if no one answers soon.
