What the hell is the point of the game? At the moment it is just sounding like a trashy fantasy novel...

Thing is, it's completely enigmatic. The main goal seems to be finding out where the hell you are (it's some kind of afterlife limbo most probably), who you are and what you're supposed to do :P. It's generally more surreal than your typical fantasy (case in point: the world map looks like neurons or sth.)

Where can I buy Pathologic? I don't care if it's broken, it sounds fascinating and I want to experience it. Google is not being my friend today.
*(in English, obviously)

ebay's not MY friend, they made that pretty clear with the last transaction I did. But thanks for the advice anyway ;)

I hate posting right after myself, even if it's several weeks later, but I thought this might just be worth the bump - RPS have (
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2009/01/26/unknown-pleasures-typrop/) a short piece on Tension, sharing some impressions (noticeably positive, at that) based off a succinct experience with the Russian version of the game. The English version is said to be released some time this year.

The English release of
The Void is set for the 23rd of October. I don't have a clue whether a US release is even being considered, but the UK publisher - (
http://www.mamba-games.co.uk/) Mamba Games - have it available for Americans (and probably anyone else worldwide).

Thanks for the heads-up. I even have a system capable of running it well, for once!!!

If I remember correct, once the english version of The Void is out, the same people are going to work on a new translation for Pathologic.
