I kinda expected it to run that bad for you, with you being on the other side of the planet. I played on a US West Coast server for a while and my experience was just like yours, hardmode was massively frustrating.

I've been in a few times now just to get my bearings. Kind of need some decent armour though in order to be useful so may mine out some more metals and get myself a good set before chiming in proper. I do like what you've done to the place though :)
I feel like we should start making some good decorative shit at some point too though, like some cosmetic shit like a bathroom, bins, street lights etc...

Can I just say - if anyone is considering fighting any bosses (except eye of Cthulhu or stuff which can be fought multiple times), to announce it here with a few hours warning so people (a) can join in and (b) know it has already happened.

Pumpkin Armor is quite good for how easy it is to get.
As far as bosses go, I suggest we take on Skeletron next weekend to give everyone interested some time to poke around, build some stuff and gear up a bit.
