My experience is that even a small map has at least 5+ Boots and frequently 10+, with slightly less Clouds. Balloon is of course one of the heavily limited ones (Sky Island chest only), but I've never been a fan of Cloud or Balloon once I've gotten my hands on Rocket Boots (or even a Hook).
As far as ore for high grade picks being an issue. If you're talking about pre-HM ores, then only if you don't ever explore, if you do explore you'll drown in the harvestable stuff. Nightmare & Deathbringer (the Crimson variant) are made from farmable boss drops and Hellstone is amazingly abundant once you get down there and you only need 60 ore (=20 bars) to make the pick now. As far as Adamantite/Titanium is concerned, they can be a bit of an issue, but you don't actually need those to make the Drax/Pickaxe Axe anymore (the 3 mecha bosses drop Hallowed Bars now) and Adamantite/Titanium can't be used to harvest Chlorophyte anyway. And Chlorophyte spawns/grows naturally once hardmode has been started.
Then again, the best pick in the game (Picksaw) is a rare drop from the Golem boss in the jungle temple.

I've been spending quite a bit of time farming the Queen Bee, so make sure to check the chests on the right for some apiculture products. Bee Guns and honey for all.

When is everyone on? I invited a really cool chick (applechucks from Steam) that I have played L4D2 with for years. She's dropped off a lot of equipment and will be another friendly face to pay with. Super generous, helpful girl. I am on early mornings, late afternoons Eastern US Time Zone.

Is anyone getting Starbound (its like an unofficial Terraria sequel and even has the same artist)?
The beta is supposed to be by the end of the year for anyone who pre-orders.

I'll probably look into Starbound when it releases, but something about the art style in the trailer feels a bit off to me.

Sorry I've not been in to the server much - I've been waylaid with day job and only find a few moments here and there. In my single player world, I'm not even geared up enough to kill Skeletron yet (though I can kill the eater of worlds with little effort). Anyway, it's good people have been enjoying. Hopefully when my workload calms down I can get back into it a bit more.
