Pratchett is a Thief fan? HA! How cool is that. *grin*
I think if I had to choose my favorite, it'd be a tie between The Amazing Maurice and His Ecuated Rodents and Lords and Ladies; I'm a sucker for dark. :)

Pratchett is one of my favourite authors, but it's no secret that he loves video games. I expected that he played Thief from reading his novels since there are so many things that parallel between his universe and Thief. I believe his favourite game is still the original doom though. :P
Good to know his daughter has walked in his footsteps and become an avid gamer and writer. :thumb:

Curiously I had the same problem as him during that mission.
I would ignore the letter and just keep following the girl.
And then the mission would end and I was...
"Hey, She didn´t see me! Why did I get a Game Over ?!?"

I also remember someone saying that he'd posted a question in a newsgroup pertaining to T2X.

I love TP and have all of the discworld books. His playing Thief was one thing I wasn't expecting, though.
The first part of Pyramids has a very thiefy-assasiny feel to it.

Blimey here's an old thread alright.
I checked out alt.games.thief-dark-project for a while after seeing this thread originally and Terry Pratchett knocked the back out of the Thief series alright. In fact at some points it was raised that wasn't he supposed to be working on new stories rather than spending every waking moment on Thief.
Then when Oblivion came out he turned up on alt.games.elder-scrolls :)
