There's a new feature up at DXM! We've uploaded some quizzes that were created by two very knowledgable Deus Ex-perts, TechImmortal and Spygirl. They have been seen before, if you frequent the Ion Storm BBS, but I'm happy to be able to present them in a more accessible manner! Please use this thread to discuss any feelings you have about the questions. Wrong answers, strange questions, or extremely hard questions. Even tell me if I mistakenly made a typo or something in the transition from text to ASP :) Speak out and enjoy!

Damn, I´m good!
Out of all three tests I got 1 (one) question right... A total fluke, too (the price of a sampan ride). This must be some kind of record... :p

I had 3 correct answers on Quiz 1. I disagree with the last question though. She should ask when is the first time you see Simons in the game. The training is not technically part of the game since it is not necessary to complete in order to play the rest.
A big fat 0 on the Baker's Dozen. 1 correct answer on quiz #3.

Thanks for the info ;) We're planning something next that's along these lines as well, and this tells me that we're definitely going to have to make some changes!

Hmmm...perhaps a bit of history to put the difficulty of the quizzes in perspective. :)
Spygirl posted her first quiz on the ISBB, and I responded with a quiz to challenge her, then she responded with another quiz. These are the three quizzes in question, and I think this explains why they are hard.
No one is expected to know all of these answers without looking at the game - anyone who does is a genius and better than we are - Spygirl and I did not know all of the answers to each others' quizzes!
Helpful hint: read every public terminal, newspaper, datacube, and computer you can find. If you have old savegames you can load, it saves time and also allows you to replay conversations and try alternatives.
Hope this helps!

Quick note
Quiz 1, Q5:
There is another stash of medbots behind a locked crate. I think its just after the two guys talking about "Good Man Gunther" and before the two(three) under the streetlight.
Trust me it is there I just can't describe it.

You are absolutely right. It's where you say, in the dark, next to the wall. :)

Those quizzes gave me a bit of a headache. I think I got the same as ToolHead and got 1 right out of all 3 quizzes.
Here's a new challenge for either TechImmortal or Spygirl. Put up a quiz that people might be able to do without looking at the game. This is not a criticism of your current quizzes. I'm sure they're fully researched and everything but I for one would appreciate one with a slightly easier level of difficulty. Also, how about one with quotes and where we have to guess who said what etc.

I like the quote quiz idea :)
OK, everyone, help us help you! Can you tell us which questions you got right? A lot of people are saying they got one question right - it would be weird if you are all referring to the same question!
But maybe you are...
So, I am curious :)
Edit: If anyone feels embarrassed to post, you can email me instead.

I got only 1 right of all three quizes. Didn't launch the game to find any answers.
I can't remember which quiz it was, but it was something like "what happens if you kill the UNATCO trooper who comes up to the Liberty Statue where you interrogated the NSF leader?"
