As does having a shot fired through your window.

Me on the left. Must have had a growth spurt while protecting my neck from vampires wtf. I thought about posting one of Rodney in his "Harley riders eat more pussy" T shirt but chose that instead. The thing is, we both grew up with gun safety. His dad and mine trained pointers for quail hunting and we both were no strangers to safety on and barrel down. It was just him being him when he did something like that. He lives on a whim but is so happy go lucky you forget that and loan him your brand new Honda Shadow to ride his girlfriend on and of course he comes back with it trashed from having flipped it popping wheelies because he is Rodney and what the hell were you thinking now you have to hope his bleeding girl won't sue you.
My daughter had no interest in ever firing a gun (though I asked often) but I made it clear (along with strict safety rules and lectures on how easy it is to die) that I would take my son any time he wanted to target shoot and I count my bullets so there is never a reason to sneak it out even if the lock could be jimmied. According to the USAF I'm a marksman (though that target shoot was a joke) but he would make money betting my friends he could stack a bullet on top of another at 60 feet with my 45. I could never do that. So you see, I understand the pride. But if he had shown any Rodney tendencies I would have gotten all guns out of the house quick. It's a hard thing to figure so you pay close attention. It is bitter irony that the main reason to own a handgun (protection of loved ones) is also the reason not to.

Fuck off Choad.
Isn't" just fucking off" achieved by posting here on the forums?

Let me rephrase:
Get the fuck out, Choad.
