I'm using the vmawwin/snowcrun texture on the ground of my mission. I can hear the wind, the AI, etc, but I can't hear the footsteps "crunching" through the snow. This texture is everywhere: rooftop, hills, valleys, etc. No sound anywhere.
If I go back a couple of builds, it works fine anywhere in the mission. All of the builds use the same gamesys. I've re-compiled, checked the RBs. I give up. What else do I need to look at?
EDIT: Nevermind... When I changed the player start, I forgot to add VictoryCheck and the -2099 link back in. Can anyone say NOOB!

It was because there was no PlayerFactory link to Garrett (-2099) that was causing it. We were trying some teleporting routines. The original start point got deleted, leaving a marker that Dromed used as a "proxy" starting point. And since the player didn't really exist, there were no footstep sounds. No playsies, no footsies. No crunchy sounds in the snowsies.

Sorry, I think that was my fault. Completely forgot about it. :erg:
