Two posts in one night. I know, I hate spammers, but I can't make the decision myself. Somebody stop meh!
I've succumbed to the urge to travel back in time and repurchase the first two games. Should I get Thief: Gold and Thief: The Metal Age separately, or get the bundle? Are the extra Gold missions worth it?

The Gold missions are definitely worth it. Also, if you are planning to play the FMs, you will want Gold because many of them are made only for Gold, so you'll be able to play any of them.

Definitely get 'em separate. That's what I did. Two of the three missions are kind of ehhhh (I personally loathe Mage Towers) but the third one makes up for it. And again, a lot of FMs are Gold-only, so get Gold and save yourself the hassle.

I'm a bit confused with your post versus the name of the thread. Going off the thread title, I would say that is a tough choice. Thief 1 is a classic and has some differences from Gold, so if you like the original I'd probably get that. That being said, however, if you like the sound of the stuff pav and jtr7 said then you'd want Thief Gold. Actually, I would try to get all three, just cuz they have different experiences. But judging from your post Dante, it sounds like you played Thief 1 before so I guess the suggestion to get all three is a mute point. Thief: Gold is definitely worth the money though.:) Good luck finding a copy cheap enough. There's suggestions on where to buy thief gold I think in the FAQ.

Yeah, TG's gone up in price; I spent about $25 on it but that was at least 2 years ago.

Mhmm. I got TG and TMA for 10 dollars each at the game store. A few years back Edios repackaged the thief games and resold them.

You got lucky with the TGOLD.
True as far as the repackaging. But, as most afficiandos know, that was only TDP and TMA. No TGOLD in that pack.
It sold in the US as Thief Dual Platinum Pack, and contained the patched (current) versions of The Dark Project, and The Metal Age. TGOLD has not yet, and probably won't be, made available other than the original pressing.
So, you are correct, but not on the main part of the question, and slightly misleading in your answer.
