You can get a nice TG+T2+T3 package quite cheap, the catch is all text is Polish ;)

You got lucky with the TGOLD.
True as far as the repackaging. But, as most afficiandos know, that was only TDP and TMA. No TGOLD in that pack.
It sold in the US as Thief Dual Platinum Pack, and contained the patched (current) versions of The Dark Project, and The Metal Age. TGOLD has not yet, and probably won't be, made available other than the original pressing.
So, you are correct, but not on the main part of the question, and slightly misleading in your answer.
Thanks. I don't know what we'd do without your expertise.

I have mentioned it before, only the installers are.the rest is in english (if we are talking about the anthology version that is),that means once you get it installed you are all set..

aah,you are right, the polish version is translated, the czech is not (thats the one I have,'cause I hate translated games, even though I'm not a native english speaker).sorry.

Is the Czech version the same as the Polish one in other aspects? Since I thought the Polish one was the only known bundle to have TG instead of TDS. If it does have TG, I might consider getting it.
I also prefer English versions, I had someone send me the english text files for TG ;), though I have to say the polish translation is very good (no wonder, considering (

the czech version contains thief gold as well (funny thing is that the box, manual and even the launcher actually has dark project written all over).all games are fully patched to the latest version and are nocd out of the box,and all three have custom czech installers (no way around this).I haven't had any serious problems running mods/texture upgrades either, but note that the cfgs are a bit nonstandard so have a text editor ready if you want to use them (it took me quite a while to get (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1565268#post1565268) t2x working for example).apart from that, all three games look unmodified when compared to the originals..the czech installers may pose a bit of a problem, but you don't need to be a rocket scientist to guess what you have to do (agree to eula, choose your game folder etc).

So it's basically the same, only with the czech subtitles as an optional install rather than coded straight into the game installations. Interesting. As for the menus, that's not a problem at all here - For a Pole, czech reads pretty much like a funny version of polish ;)

heh,I know what you mean, its the same when I try to read/understand Polish-I'm from Slovakia :cheeky:

It seems that the Polish and Checoslovakians are the only smart ones.
Too bad the UK and USA can't offer the full pack with 1, 2 and Gold.
I may cry.
