Two things...and my brain must really be on low voltage for this FM.
1. [SPOILER]Where is the secret passageway in the library? We're talking 3rd floor library at the west end of the castle which links the walkaround for the 3 rd floor right? Not the room accessed from this library area by way of a switch at the floor beside the stairwell door (there are some books in this room as well, along the east wall, but I don't consider THIS part of the library)[/SPOILER]
2. [SPOILER]The living room (fireplace, chess board, route to basement). Apparently the observatory is accessed from here, but how?[/SPOILER]

That was a good one. Funny thing is I found that lever but assumed it was to open the living room entrance from the inside.

Clock: if you frob [SPOILER]switch in the library, the secret door to the CABINET must open. (Check the map.) The secret door is on the west from the switch, just nearby the table.[/SPOILER] I hope that it is not possible it doesn't work, I prefer to think that you haven't noticed the door. But if it REALLY doesn't work, please tell me. May be some item thrown on the floor blocked door's opening?
But never mind, this door is not so important to finish the mission.

Now either Preno misunderstood which locked door UliB was referring to or I'm misunderstanding something (which wouldn't be the first time).
So to sum up, [SPOILER]there is only one switch in the library and that triggers a door which open to the Cabinet Room. There is no secret passage leading from the library downstairs to one of the locked guest rooms (apparently occupied)[/SPOILER]

I've finally gotten a chance to play this FM and I'm really enjoying it, though I never would have gotten far without this thread! I'm stuck though and reading all the stuff here hasn't really helped. I've seen references to a water area but I can't find it. I'm in the Temple, I've gotten the Golden Book but there doesn't seem to be a way out. There's a line of guards out in the main room and I've seen a small hole in the wall of the Temple but all I can see through it is a light. What do I do? Please don't be cryptic. Spoil it for me. :)

I wish I could spoil it for you, but you're way ahead of me. I haven't even gotten into the Temple yet. At least I don't think I have. I'm missing something really basic here, and I should definately concentrate more on this FM.
