Yes, I understood where she meant, I just couldn't find [SPOILER]the lockbox.[/SPOILER] This isn't the first time she's helped me with this exact problem (lol). I think it was Calandra's Cistern where [SPOILER]this gate had to be opened, but the lockbox was situated against the wall and down a bit, but wasn't visible unless you looked right at it.[/SPOILER]

I have the "unknown key", and I read about the gate has a lockbox that the key will work on, but I can not find the lockbox anywhere. Help?

Have you already found your way into the flooded tunnels? If you have then There's a gate on the north wall in the room that has a pile of bones on the floor. The lockbox is to the right of it.

Ok, I found the lockbox and got the talisman and I returned through the lab to the area outside the temple. I have the maze key but no idea where the maze is? I can not go back out the way I came in because the door I opened with a fire arrow is now closed. I'm officially stuck!

You don't leave the way you came in. If you got the maze key, then you found the 2 thieves standing by a fire, right? One of the passageways out of that room leads to a room with a door that the key unlocks. *hint* there's also another way out of that room rather than going through the maze. That will get you to the proper way out. :)

Thanks, Nightwalker! I made it all the way outside but I'm supposed to return to the fire keeper. Who is the fire keeper? If it's the civilian outside the castle near a fire that has meat roasting in a fire then I'm screwed because I BJ'd him early on.

No, that's not him so you're okay. Did you take the key from the Ice Keeper? Go back to the shed where you started the mission and use the key on the locked door there.
