I meant the scroll which can be read - just in the place you pointed at.
The way out is through the sewer hatch. You need to descend back.

I had an out of body experience..lol:D:eek:I was fiddling around by the metal door that you can see under..near to the burrick cave,and I got stuck under the jagged piece of wall between the two above mentioned places...
then I suddenly found myself down in the sewer :devil: with the spiders!..I had quite a nasty turn,as they advanced towards me,and screamed"How the hell did I get here!"...now... how was I magically teleported there?...I cant seem to re-create that either

Thats the one...its similar to the repulsion bug I get when my Husband comes in drunk and amourous:D...the same thing happens:D:cheeky:

A good example of repulsion bug in original game is in Haunted Cathedral. Crouch, go to the window, through which you see the Eye, as closely as possible, turn around and jump. And you're inside of cathedral!

Although I feel as if I might have done it inspite of the clues and readables I have just finished on Impossible.
Thank you Dront - it was a real challenge requiring perseverence and searching everywhere. It's a complicated but intriguing and novel storyline !
Never got in the garden and there were still, I think, 3 trapdoors in the rooms on the roof that I hadn't opened. Wonder if there were any flares availalble that I missed as they would have been very useful in the basement - sooo dark!

in the garden and there's nothing valuable there.
3 trapdoors also can't be opened.
About flares - there are no flares available.

lever puzzle was a lot of trial and error :p with the help of the
clues you "included" - or maybe the pictures held some clues I missed. Dont think I saw a readable for it?
The notice was a bit
scary as I thought I only had the one go at solving the puzzle :devil: - luckily I could reload!

I haven't had such a good laugh in a long time. I can just imagine getting into bed and experiencing the Thief repulsion bug. :D:cheeky:
