We have everything checked off except getting out through the sewers but have a couple questions. There were some doors that we could not open because we couldn't find any keys for them. Is there anything to be done with the magic portal? How about the woman in the water (cocoon)?
For every door who is locked is a key to open it or you can open it by a lockpick. Can you be more specific about what door?
Grate's however not.
There can be done nothing with the magic portal, in the personal notes of Mr. Chuz state why.

The woman in the water is Mr. Chuz's wife and therefore dead, this is also explained in the personal notes.
Everybody, thanks for the great reply:thumb:

Nice mission...still looking for the book of magic, but I like your use of shadows and some challenging guard placement. Something weird is occuring as I play...a lot of the tables in the mission are invisible. It appears that they are not being rendered. They are still physically in the right spot (I cannot move through the area where I should see them). I took a screenshot...
(

Has anyone else seen this? It's no big deal...probably one of those weird DromEd artifacts that pop up every now and then. I hope you'll be doing more missions in the future!

:D Looks really weird. Though I had been betatesting this mission I never encountered this phenomenon. Could be something machine specific. Have you seen this visual bug in any other mission before?
Nightwalker on 27/1/2003 at 14:56
LOL! Very strange, eepcat! They were definitely all present and accounted for every time I played through. :)

No, I have not seen this in other missions. Interestingly, it's only the large wooden table object that is invisible. Other tables like plant stands, small desks, etc, are fine. Maybe Garrett ate a bat light mush early on in the mission.

- eep! I am not shure, but it might have to do something with the Thief Gold patch. I could imagine that when this mission used tables from Thief Gold, and something is not right or when the patch is not installed they cannot be rendered. But maybe a fresh install of thief will help. I played thief for a year without trouble, and now had to reinstall it twice the last few weeks. Both times it solved my problem...
I hope this helps.

That's one of those secret things i have implanted. If you wait long enough the AI will come and starts a chairdance :ebil: :eww: :cheeky:
I have no idea what causes it thoug. It could very well be what Long Finger said.
Edit: Has anyone else have the similar problems? If so, could you let me know either by mail or pm. Thanks

Excellent mission, azrarhn, with very clever use of ambient sounds and creepy atmosphere. Liked it very, very much! :thumb:
And, I think I found a smart way to deal with the book bug. Check your PM, azrarhn...

I wonder if anyone remembres that one...
Anyway, past Mr. Chuz's bedroom there's metal door. It's unpickable and none of the keys I found works on it. Is there a way to open it?
Also, where is the woman in the water and how come I haven't found her? o_O
Nightwalker on 26/5/2013 at 02:20
I went back and had a look at my saved games but I'm afraid I can't remember if there's a key for that door or where it is if there is.
