for many years i was never able to beat "kill for life" but once i saw elevator in mansion i was able to,you right,the limited supply made it vewry hard for me,also back then i was not near as good as i am now,but i love next to impossible missions,so thank you for making that series.
i am using thief 1 with the patch to be able to play thief gold fan missions but the skip missions thing dont work.
i was also watching a documentry on the thieves in law in prisons in russia,that would be a epic fan mission to escape from a russian prison that is being run by brutal guards and thieves in law,i just know dew drop is there lol
also in kill for life i never figured out how to kill those fire guys,i tryed everything on them but they still lived

I'd recommend you to find TG. Some FMs for TG don't work for T1 even with TG-patch (some objectives don't tick off).
Or you can cheat in such a way:
There is a file user.bnd in your Thief folder. Open it as a text file and add the following line:

bind end+alt+ctrl+shift win_mission
If you write it on the last line of the file, add one empty extra line (the last line in such files may be ignored by the game).

I don't know which one is more epic - Russian prison or The Shawshenk Redemption or Escape from Alcatraz. :)

wow thank you i binded the line i will test it soon
and i think since i am using thief 1 with thief gold patch i was not able to kill the fire guys,as i unloaded mass water arrows/holy water arrows and flash bomb and everything else i had to test it but they lived ,they would run but but come back,and as far as sword 9/10 times i was to close and got burned just be being close to them
every jail/prison mission released so far were ok,but i think they can be alot better
although a escape map is also good,someone should remake escape from new york the first movie in a fan mission,although not full story just idea of being on a city island and having to survive aginst all type of things,kinda like the movie warriors ,same idea but with gangs
are you maiking anymore thief 1/g/2 fan missions? cause those are my fav

yeah i played all your missions many times amazing stuff,the bind did not work ,not sure why i put in on the end of the other binds like this "bind end+alt+ctrl+shift win_mission" and saved it ofcourse but in game nothing happened.

You've put it without quotation marks, right?
Have you added a line after it? The text written on the last line can be ignored.
If even this doesn't work, I suggest you find and install Thief Gold.
Or I can end the mission myself and send a savegame file.

yes i have stuff after the code and i did not add the " i just did that on board to show what i put.
i use to have thief gold but i gave it to a person in canada since they never played thief,and i had thief 1 already ,the extra mission i was able to play on darkloarder never though files would be so differnt
