yeah you sent me the wrong type of save games files,so they did nothing
Dront on 22/8/2012 at 05:00
Why do you think they are of the wrong type? Is there any error message?
How did you use these files?
You should install the FM (Plot), copy them to your SAVES folder and run the game. They should appear in save files.
Also, this may be the incorrect version (1.0 instead of 1.1). Check your readme - FM version should be 1.1 (release date - 30.09.2008).

can you just put mission 2 as a solo mission so i can play it?
saves aren't working, bind to end mission did not work.
i have version 1.1 of plot from cheap thief missions site
when i added save file it did not show up in my load game area all was blank
Dront on 22/8/2012 at 08:42
It is not so simple to dig it out as a solo one. I need to find out which other files are related to it and which aren't, and delete the unnecessary ones, then I have to test it and see if it runs correctly in game. This can take more time than replaying the first mission.
I can also try to find the correct savegame files (folder allsaves, right?) and send them to you.

I tried it for two minutes on normal - no place to hide, no place to go, not thief like at all - when you go into the canal there's no way out again unless you've already got a key. It just doesn't make sense or fit in with the the thief universe to me.

Despite your review being negative, thanks. Such opinions help me not to fall to styles of these early missions now. :)

Can't find Walter at his mansion. The elevator only goes from the ground floor to the 1st floor. Where is this 2nd floor and the basement according to the book?
fortuni on 19/2/2017 at 16:00
There is no second floor, I think you'll find Dront used the american floor numbering system (ie. ground floor = first floor, first floor = second floor).
As to how to find the basement you'll find the the entrance to Walter's shelter is an elevator, there's a button hidden in the shadows just on your left as you come in from the front door.

Thanks! Found Walter but took a lot of sword slashes to put him down then the game was finished. But when I lured him into the elevator and crushed him by calling it down the kill Walter box did not check even though Walter was now a corpse.
