The note "orders for guards" left of the entrance to Walter's mansion is misleading, possibly due to a mistranslation from Russian to English. It says "Obtain the key from this building, which is guarded in guard room near the entrance to my mansion, and deliver it here", but the key is actually a long distance away,
near the entrance to the mission. I described its exact location (

so thx a lot, but i surrender the mission. for teh key i had to go back passing all these haunts and firemonster.
