I replayed this mission and found 2 possible bugs:
1. Glasses (150 loot) located on casino table on 3rd floor create separate loot count. If you completed loot objective, then grabbing glasses will make it uncheck. Grabbing other loot piece will complete loot objective again. And it sums loot correctly in last stats though.
2. Twice I got message that I got new objectives, but no new objectives appear in objective screen. What's with that?

Well, this was weird as hell.
Back in the day, when the 20 years anniversary missions came out, I simply missed out this one, since it was not part of that contest. Now I had the time to play it.
This mission has a strange combination of features and ups and downs. The design, the looks and the architecture are well above average, and promising in the beginning. However, monolithic and annoying gameplay makes the mission much worse than it should be.
The daylight city setting with a hint of ruined atmosphere is great at the beginning. However, the enormous mansion full of over-sensitive zombies, craybeasts and burricks is really annoying, because they are impossible to ghost or kill.
One should have a moment of pleasure when Garrett finally takes the book, and all those mentioned beasts are replaced by hammerites. However, they are oversensitive and they are outnumbering the player as well. I ended up wanting to escape the mansion as quick as I can, and I drowned a dozen of hammers in the "dick pool", to put it simply. Even after getting out of the mansion, the city was overloaded with annoying and oversensitive hammers, so it is a wonder itself, that somehow I could make it back to the starting point.
Also, the great long diary should be mentioned. I'm not aware of what was the purpose here, but it was disturbing to read it and it was also possibly shining a light to a really frustrated incel's serious problems. It was truly disturbing in a real-world sense and not thiefy at all.
What I see is a talented author with possibly major real life problems he wanted to picture here. Whatever the case is, the DromEd architecture talent should be used for better purposes and this is definitely a non-replay one for me. Not to mention the "16 years old boy" like, sex fueled cheap texts.

The incel diary is, like most of the content in this FM, intended as a trolly gag. It's the entire text of (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Isla_Vista_killings#Manifesto_and_online_posts) Elliot Rodger's manifesto paginated in Thief readable format. A lot of effort for a (tasteless?) joke.
Fortunately, it's almost certainly not a reflection of spoonman's personal views... Unfortunately, it was the product of a sick and homicidal person who really existed and really killed innocent people, rather than a fictional one. I'm not sure if that makes its inclusion here better or worse, but that's what it is.

I was not aware of the killings, since here in Europe sometimes we have our own share of problems that we don't follow other continent's news 10 out of 10 times.
So, my first meeting with this diary was at a time when I was playing Thief and wasn't aware of the 2014 killings. So, imagine my face: how on earth I could interpret that one. :D
Thank you for the info, Dirk. Anyways, I think that in this mission, the zero shadows, the not too good playability and the tasteless readables are definitely getting the whole product to the "minus" side.
