I've followed all the things in the FAQ about installing on XP, but my problem still isn't fixed. Every time I tell it to install, double click the setup.exe(I've tried with and without messing with the compatibility options) or use the D:\setup.exe -lgntforce, it simply just sits there. I saw the thing in the FAQ about just waiting for it to open, so I left it there for about four hours today and it made no progress whatsoever...
If anyone knows what I can do, help would be appreciated...

I forgot to say... I'm using XP home, with a 3.0 ghz AMD processor and 512 mb of ram.

I had the same problem once with Thief 2. What worked for me was booting up in safe mode and then installing. Funny...TDGP and SS2 installed just fine without even having to use the lgntforce thing.:erg:

I got up this morning and tried to install again, and it decided to work this time... so, no idea what I changed that made it different, but the problem is fixed.
