I know what I'm looking for has been posted before, but I've searched and can't find the thread.
When a T1/G mission wants to run as T2 (or vice versa, I suppose), what are the steps to fix this? I only semi-remember the steps - load the mission, open a file, find the mission name, and then edit something? I can't remember which file to open or what to edit.

you have to open the file and change the 1 to a 2 or a 2 into a 1 depending on what way its flipped should be in main game file once fan mission was added, then you can change the number
the one file that lets you see everything you have in fan missions, you change the fan mission type number i want to say convict file???

Sounds like you're using Darkloader, which is outdated software. You won't have to worry about any of this if you use a more up-to-date mission loader, like FMSel or AngelLoader.

Thanks, downwinder. Yeah, I can't remember which file I need to make the change in. I don't think it's convict.osm.

That's odd. I'm using AngelLoader and have this issue with multiple missions.

Which missions are causing issues? All of them, or just a few in particular? I've never heard of this issue in AngelLoader, which typically has a reliable detection method (I think based on whether vine arrows appear in the hierarchy). Perhaps a few FMs have done something squirrely that's messing it up.

It's just a few of them. Feast of Pilgrims and My Favorite Year load as TG instead of T2. I'm wondering if I should uninstall and reinstall AngelLoader to see if that fixes the problem.
