Nobody is actively seeking to "limit your creativity". Simply inform the player in your read-me file that you suggest uninstalling the EP before playing your mission as it will cause a conflict.
See how simple that was? So stop whinging like a child who didn't get his way.

so you are using orig names for your custom resources. I'm not much of a Dromeder, but that sounds like the MOTHER of bad ideas. also, there is no way EP can replace skyboxes, only TFix and TafferPatcher can do that.
also, nowadays, releasing something Thief related without making sure it's fully compatible with EP2, TafferPatcher and TFix first is not exactly smart.

All mission authors need to put it in big red letters in the readme.
The Enhanced Patches were designed for the OMs and missions using those same resources. I had the same problem when beta-testers were telling me certain textures were misaligned. I was pulling my hair out. Took me awhile to understand what was going on.

So which one of the patches is doing this? Tafferpatch? with so many patches updated i get confused.

To clarify, I did uninstall it after you first let me know. What I didn't know was that I uninstalled the wrong thing (I thought it was the enhanced texture pack that was causing the issue). Anyway, I found it now and fixed it for the future. Part of the reason I didn't suspect anything after that was that I must have installed EP with Tafferpatcher and thus used it for all my previous videos without seeing any issues. I guess it's best to create new objects, textures, files, meshes etc with new names when Dromeding so it's all safe.

correct. any completely new resource should have a completely new name/id, this by itself will solve 99% of issues.
also, using FMselect should help if your resources are already using orig names, as if I remember correctly, FM resources will take priority over resources in modpaths (but not ubermodpaths). if you are using pre-NewDark FM loaders.. well, just don't.

I don´t create new objects because i don´t know how.

With paintings I think it's best to open up the RES archive, find the painting object in there (the bin file), extract it, rename it to sth like "cardia001.bin". Then open it up with a HEX editor and somewhere at the top there should be the name of the texture it uses, eg. "painting1.gif". While in the hex editor, rename that texture to your own but make sure to keep the same number of letters because the editor replaces them, so for example instead of "painting1.gif" there would be "cardia001.gif". And from then on that bin file will be using cardia001.gif as its texture. Then just create that texture, put it all in obj folder and obj/txt16 folder and it should work.
Disclaimer: I'm not really too experienced with Dromed, this is just something I read somewhere and done a few times. It seemed to work for me.

Pedro - I'd hate to see you stop making missions just because of the EP. Why not start a thread over in the Editor's Guild on how to fix these types of things? It's happened before, many times, so you're not the only one. A thread specific to this problem would not only help you, but provide a great resource for other mission authors as well in the future.
