Ahh, that. For cooking purposes it shouldn't matter. Chefs just like to use kosher salt because it doesn't have any additives and it's easier to manage.

Ah, sea salt - yes, that sounds close to the description of kosher salt and it's what I normally use for flavouring anyway.

Then I went to the market and got more. Crisis averted.
