Houston as in the one in Texas? Yeah, it's just liberal white guilt at play there.
Also who the fuck takes bloggers seriously?

Technically the guy's black, if you read the whole post, but either way it's so much wah wah wah.

Clearly, all the African zombies should have been white?
P.S. If you think this is bad, you should visit my college >_>

Heh heh, you're correct. I did skim read it.

This is just as ridiculous as complaining that the first npc you meet in Oblivion is too (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127509) mean.
Also I wonder how many people are going to sue game companies now for a few extra bucks.

I love the way that pretty much all of the comments there are negative, and far more sensible than the article itself. The guy is an arsehole.
I don't know which is worse, him (who plays other games and should be better informed) or the girl who wrote about RE5 when it came out (who didn't play games and didn't know anything about RE5)
It also reminds me of the stupid author that slagged Mass Effect's sex without seeing/playing it, then got blasted to death on Amazon for it. I think Amazon blocked people reviewing her stuff because people wrote "I haven't read this but it's shit" Poetically just.
I wish I could have heard her agent's reaction.
Vigilante net justice is the way to go.

There are mixed races of zombies, there are all different races of zombies that you shoot, and since we placed it in New Orleans, that makes it racist? I honestly re-read the paragraph about five times ... but when two of the characters in your game are African-American, it's a weird thing to be accused of. We're like, 'how does this work'?
Actually, Chet, it's quite easy to understand how this works. The videogames medium is starting to get enough cultural recognition so as to be a worthwhile target for useless, greasy buttplugs, like this blogger fucktwit, trying to prove that they're
pressing the issue, and at the same time, games do not have quite that amount of abovementioned cultural recognition for said buttplugs to face a possibly serious backlash for their bullshit. And thus, gamers and the industry face wildly varied accusations depending on which agenda each given idiot is trying to push, from racism to (
http://www.penny-arcade.com/images/2008/20080115.jpg) being godless liberal faggots.

I actually agree that black people shouldn't be portrayed as zombies in video games. They're so much harder to see in the dark.
Thanks balls the most racist game ever - RE5 - is set in the day-time. :) But still even it is idiotic in its political 'corectness', they added unnatural number of white people. Reality and God are much more racist than that.

Killing white people in games for past 30 years = cool
Killing black people in one game = racist
