There's the drunk in the game room of Truart's mansion and there's the dumb guard that's usually paired with the know-it-all guard. Different voices. Who's the real Benny? Or do we have Benny Sr. and Benny Jr.?

Could the real Bernard Sinclair please stand up. Please stand up. Please stand up. :cheeky:

Technically, the one in the gameroom is the only real Benny in the Thief Universe, all the others we endearingly call "Benny" 'cause it may as well be him, too.:D We like him too much to just call him "Dumb Guard".
This reminds me of the thread where someone was taffin' around and came up with the idea that Benny's really a Keeper agent, and that's how he's able to seem to be in many places at once.:joke:

I remember the conversation about watching the outside of Bafford's Manor more. And then the one in T2 griping about having to pull guard duty. Each one with the same end line. Was there one in Thief 3 as well?

The last line of the TDP/Gold conversations is:
"Oooh..."
And the last line of the Guard Duty conversation is:
"Gold is gold--don't matter if it's coming from Reuben or Sheriff Truart."
What line did you have in mind?

I was referring to the dumb guard's line after the other guard calls him taffer

The "Oooh... At least it's better than sitting watch for the Downwinders..." line?
He says "Oooh" a few times, but not in TDS.
And the only time the smart guard calls the dumb guard a taffer in TDS is during the zombie conversation.
