As a short explanation: There's a hilarious little press feud going on in the yellow pages of bankrupt Greece and prosperous Germany with one side making Nazi comparisons and the other damning the lazy corrupt southern greedos, led by leftist rebels like financial minister Yanis Varoufakis. The cognitive dissonance comes from the fact that Germans secretly like guys like him, but they're still not willing to shell out a few billions to save Greece. Of course it's all way more complicated than that.
