I think we're all over looking the more important issue here which is
YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE BONEHOARD??!!!Go now, my son and enjoy that for which the Builder hath created thee.
As for Alarus and the Bow Upgrade, I liken these detractors to the Illuminati or Templar Knights, purposely obscuring that which should be revealed to all. Seek and ye shall find.
Err, well, my sister did once, but I don't like zombies. The furthest I ever got was the part where Garrett said "It's a long way down..." That's the right mission, right? I just shoot the zombie from above and then I quit :thumb:

Bonehoard is a MUST - even with the zombies.

Actually, a bow upgrade of sorts DOES exist - mind you, it was made by a fan, and is not in thief. PM me to find out more - and I'm being absolutely serious. This is not a joke. Don't believe me? well, PM me and we'll talk.

*sigh* Unfortunately, davy's right. I abhor the nasty creatures, but one absolutely
has to play Bonehoard at least once in their life.
P.S.
Make sure you have LOTS of flashbombs. :p
P.P.S.
And that you've plotted your escape so you can blast through that level as fast as your little hobnails can move. ;)

Alternatively just play it normally. It's great.

Don't worry. Although Bonehoard does indeed contain zombies, it's not as nerve-wracking to tackle them as in other missions and the ability to outrun them is yours to perfect.
You shouldn't avoid it just because it's populated by the undead. That's no wisdom to live by.

The "Halls of Echoing Repose". WOW I almost died the first time I played the BONEHOARD, but I NEVER regretted it.
Speaking of which, given that 'repose' is defined as a 'state of rest', what's going on down there is anything but a 'state of rest'. Perhaps it's just a play on words because it sounds so good. Halls of Echoing Repose......

Rest in Peace. The soothing and restful music of the Horn of Quintus echoing throughout the Halls to calm any restlessness. 'Twould be amusing to see undead swaying gently to the music like the burricks and ignoring you.

I was more scared by the burricks. I fell into their tunnels (the central chamber) and ... didn't dare to move because they were everywhere, pacing up and down and growling. After that, I got lost in their passages and couldn't find a way out. :tsktsk:
Screw burricks.
