interesting trees in this Fm, its not HD mod issue, that's if checking by 'swopping' the darkgam is anything to go by.....is this a NewDark issue, has anyone else seen this in another mission ?

no, it's not a NewDark problem. your cfg settings are not correct. add
Code:
ObjTextures16
MeshTextures16
to your dark.cfg (or pretty much any cfg that is being read by the engine). TFix already fixes this, maybe you should use it.

I thought TFix is for T1/TG ?....beginning of Era Karath Di is T2, anyway i installed a fresh copy of T2 from GOG and installed the latest Tafferpatch, before installing the the HDmod.....and dropped in the ep file
have checked my Dark cfg file and it only contains the line 'ObjTextures16' so added 'MeshTextures16'......but i still get white tree sheets.
what else could it be.....?

i also have a problem with this mission where front door is by two guards,the texture is missing along with statue texture and ,i did nothing to have that happen,i wish this mission had a new dark updated so i can play it

I don't have the tree "sheet" problems, but there are a bunch of missing objects. I see the author saved his custom gamesys as dark.gam. Tsk, tsk. The filesize of the original dark.gam is much bigger than the one in the zip, and DarkLoader won't overwrite it.

Gecko just confirmed that some trees indeed do have broken textures.
as for the missing objects, gamesys issues etc, let me be very clear;
FMSelect.
USE IT. 99% of resource issues will be avoided.

Ps I only said it was not an HD issue as I swopped the DarkGam files ( as Gecko had suggested I do with the HD mod for Thief 1 in order to check for HD mod issues. )
FYI ......I WAS using FMSel, I usually do....:thumb:
@ricebug.....is that something that should be done just for this mission, changing things back afterwards, or is it something that once I've done I should leave as such

Never mind my previous post. I carefully checked and double-checked both DarkLoader and FMSel. Both handle the dark.gam file correctly. DarkLoader stores the original Dark.gam in darkloader_backup.zip when you install the mission.
FMSel has no need to backup anything, since it extracts the FM files into a dedicated directory.
Still, the mission has a lot of missing objects. I didn't see any texture problems.
