I always though the name "Jenivere" was kind of lame.
Artemus is a pretty cool name though... So are Aeric, Andrus and Lukas.

Ahem... "I am Frederick Juniper Rothschild the 3rd, and I deserve more recognition that those... commoners!"
P.S. Bumbleson is a brilliant name.

I am partial to Quince and Jacow -- about what you should name two hardened killers in a criminal underground.
Markander fits a Hammerite high priest very well, too.

besides Garrett, Artemus, Basso, Constantine i also liked Karras. Hated his voice bigtime, though.
Worst names? I guess i'll have to agree with Jennivere being lame, but in the whole thing i don't really try to remember all the names, specially the worst ones. :D

I don't get it, what's with all the hate against Jennivere?
I personally thought it was one of the better names in the series because it is (to my knowledge) more or less made up. Which makes it unique, which is what the Thief series is all about.

Oh man, I forgot about Quince and Jacow. I love those names... Now those are creative.:cheeky: There's so many GOOD names in the thief series... I still can't think of one I hate.

Of course I love poor ol' Benny, but I like Kevel a lot. He really got around. :p And another vote for Basso the Boxman.

Lazy naming: Captain Davidson. Mmm... Really conjurs up images of romantic piracy and swashbuckling. :p
jtr7 on 31/12/2008 at 20:07
You can blame that on the real "Captain" Davidson the dev knew.:sly: And his, uh, "spice smuggling", as well.:p
The only names I have trouble liking are thankfully behind-the-scenes, found through DromEd:
Egbert ("Dumb Guard")
Ethelbert
DrkEthelbert
Philbert
All Shoalsgate guards along with Albert ("Smart Guard").

But...but...it's spelled "Vi
ktoria", with a branching, angular "k", not a curvy, bowed "c".:joke:
...and is therefore similiar to it's Slovakian version, hehe... ;) Minus the "acute accent" diacritic mark on the "o"... :p :cheeky:

That's Anglo-Saxon "-berties" for you... :cheeky:
