There are actually
33 broadheads in the mission.
Hmm...interesting. I had miscounted, and my list really showed 32. Do you start out with any? Is there a single arrow hidden somewhere?
I also forgot the
3 rope arrows, which alternately can be used for damage.

Oops, that was a typo in my earlier post. Sorry. I actually meant that there are 34 broadheads in the mission. So you might have missed two together or two that are in different locations. You don't start out with any.
The singles you might have missed are one on a shelf behind the bar in the Three Heroes Inn and one under a table at the end of the hall upstairs in the Customs Warehouse. I don't remember which ones come in pairs of two but there are two in the fountain in front of the church.

Lol I had counted correct after all. My list only contain 31. I have all the ones you mentioned.
The ones I have are:
Broadhead Arrow x 5 At home
Broadhead Arrow x 2 In fountain outside chapel
Broadhead Arrow x 3 On table in rooftop apartment in the south
Broadhead Arrow x 5 In footlocker in tower outside inn
Broadhead Arrow x 3 In pickable footlocker in storage room at inn
Broadhead Arrow x 1 On counter behind bar at inn
Broadhead Arrow x 2 At bottom of ladder in west tower
Broadhead Arrow x 2 In armory across the street from chapel
Broadhead Arrow x 3 In footlocker in sailor's house in the north
Broadhead Arrow x 5 In offices upstairs at warehouse (4 together and 1 single)
Looks like I'm missing a triple.

You are missing the ones on the archer in the barrel on the first floor of the Customs Warehouse.

Wow thanks! :D I remember seeing that guy, but never thought to check him for arrows.

Hehe, when I got the objective to kill the dogs, they had all been dead for quite some time...:ebil:
On my 'virgin' run (which is very special to me, since you only get one virgin run per mission, and I generally try to go as far as possible without reloading*), I got suprised by the first dog. You can't see very far in the fog, and the patrolling dogs cover a lot of ground in a short time. I saw the dog attack in time, though, and actually took it down without being hit. Shortly afterwards, I happened to get myself into a fight with two more. This was much harder, and I got hit twice (down to 4hp) before defeating them. A fourth dog had heard the fight, and I was soon fighting again. Beat that one, too.
I pictured Garrett, beaten and bloody, shouting out in frustration: "IS THAT ALL YOU'VE GOT??".
(Didn't quite make it the whole way on the virgin run, but it was mighty fun while it lasted...)
(* The virgin run is as "real" as the game can get for me - I play a thief with good skills but absolutely no experience with the mission. You do not get that situation in replays or after a reload.)

Thank you Gaetane for a great mission, wow. I like everything about this series.
I'm stuck in the sewers, however. I found the sewers allright on my own but when the old guy (I guess he's Belmont?) opens the gate, I'm suddenly back at the start scene or at least somewhere high up looking over the town and the screen totally freezes up.
I'm guessing that the cut scene is not loading up correctly. What to do? Is there a way to fix it or should I just move on to the next mission?
Tannar on 9/7/2012 at 06:42
Do you mean that this is happening when you first reach the townspeople hiding in the sewers and the kind of fat guy opens the gate? If so, there is no cutscene there. You should be able to continue through that gate, meet Belmont and get another objective or two. I can't think of what would be causing this but maybe someone else will know.

Thanks Tannar. What happens is that when I move past the gate, I suddenly find myself staring at the town as if from a ledge. I can hear the voices of the townspeople in the sewers in the background, I can quickload etc. but I can't move. And I'm definitely not proceeding with the mission .:( Very strange. Nothing like this has ever happened to me and I've been playing Thief since 1999!

Just in case anyone else has similar problems, I was able to figure out what the trouble was: I looked at the scripts. I replaced my newer gen.osm and thnScript.osm files with the ones Gaëtane had and I was able to continue without any further problems. I didn't even have to restart the mission, I just loaded my old save file and voila... :D
