Note that PC version is also announced but for some reason it's not in the platform list.
First game was great with the new bullet time and all. Second had some great moments but I didn't like the story that much and also it was quite short. Not sure what to think about the third game, hopefully it will be at least longer than the second.
Absence of Remedy and the fact that this will be multiplatform game from the beginning aren't good signs though :erg:.
EDIT:
Looks like Scots beat me to this. Can a mod close or merge this thread?

So who's developing this?
(
http://www.rockstarvancouver.com/) Rockstar Vancouver apparently. Remedy is not involved AFAIK.

Calling it now: Max Payne 3 will hit stores before Alan Wake.

I'll keep an open mind, Rockstar Vancouver made the original PS2 Bully, which was pretty good.
Thank God that the inept retards at Rockstar New England aren't involved (formerly Mad Doc Software). They're responsible for the shitty, bug-ridden 360 and PC ports of Bully and Empire Earth 3.

Holy shit. How could anyone not think this is good news?

It's great news. I'm sure RS Vancouver will do a great job, because I enjoyed Bully far more than any of the GTAs. However, I'm still secretly wishing that Remedy had taken over design duties, because they know Max better than anyone else.
