I'm a devout fan of the series but I'm starting to doubt whether I really do want MP3. Because as AR said, the guy has been through hell and back. Also who is writing the story for this? Is it the original guy, cus if not...
Plus, the movie has caused people brain hemorrhaging. I'm not sure anyone is willingly to take any risks.

This will suck. Mark my words.
The Max Payne story was brought to a wonderful conclusion in MP1 and MP2. The movie showed us that theres no point bringing it further.
Surely there are other games out there we can have sequels to?

But the movie didn't bring it further. It was the same story as MP1(with a few adjustments). You can hate on MP3 all you want but saying it will suck because the movie sucked doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Heh. AR Masters post reminded me of the part in the original when he is questioning the reality of the situation and feels it to be some awful video game. Is it such a leap to have him stumble on a computer and see his life portrayed and manipulated there?
