I agree with you Nexus, the constant ramblings of the Builder's Children gets on my nerves too. There is a point when you wanna tell 'em to "shuuuuuut uuppppp!!!" But that would wake up the neighbours. :p

At least their voice is easy to hear. It makes it a lot easier to locate them - kind of like how guards will sometimes talk to themselves since a dead silent guard is harder to notice.

Take, for example, the way they sound when they die - it's been a while since I've heard it, but I think it went something like this: "Error... Error... Creationnnn... "
As if they genuinely understand that they were created, and, due to that programmed understanding, now do not understand how they are being destroyed.
Eerie, really.
Yes, and they also refer to their "foundry mother". They "know" that they were created in a forge. Karras himself recorded the voices for the robots. The whole point of Karras and his bots was that he wanted complete control of everything. He didnt want his robots to think. They said whatever he wanted to say. Hmmm....
Kind of reminds me of...

You guys are fun.

I'd disagree... They were so loud that they come through quite clearly through walls and other obstacles, and I found it quite hard sometimes to figure out where they are. Also, they can be heard from much further away, which scared the crap out of me sometimes, especially in Robbing the Bank, with all those tiled floors...

BTW, I asked Kind des Karras, if the golden cherub can be destroyed in any way. It has 10 HP only, so this did not seem to be so difficult.
KdK put it in the middle of three sunburst devices. That's what happened.

Dromed crushed down twice because of the polygone-number, even the grass burned - but the golden kid didn't even get a scratch... :D

it's probably got weaponproof or nighinvulnerable metaproperties on it.

Sounds quite tough, doesn't it? :cheeky:

This that little bugger who
turns up in the Mechanist Tower when you read Karras's new scripture? If he's so hard to hurt, I can't help but wonder how Lotus managed to take one apart.
Scared the hell out of me the first time I saw it. Maybe you could try dropping him off a cliff or drowning him.

Lotus didn't take a cherub apart - it was just a regular robot. You can tell by all the bits on the table.

Looks like Lotus has some explaining to do. :ebil:
