No Melissa - you are not the only one who could not get through the waterway! I still haven't found any breathing spaces and am glad to know that there is one! ;) I will find it one of these days (I hope). :cheeky:

I didn't even find the breathing space until my second time through.... the first time, somehow I managed to make it through the puzzle with 1 life left. I have no idea how I did it cecause I haven't been able to even get close since then. All I can figure is I used a healing potion while I was swimming, but I'm not even sure you find any that early in the mission.

Just wanted to tell everyone - :D
Keep up the great work Gummie!!!!!

Yep, I played the first one, and really enjoyed also! I'm currently downloading the 2nd version now.

I just finished the second version (is the first version different?) and I LOVE it!!!!!
It's exactly like Tomb Raider, except with bugbeasts and arrows.
The rising water effect was sweet!!! That's going up there in my favorites list. The archetecture and the lighting is amazing!!! Ooooh how I have craved a good tomb mission like this with wonderful find-the-switch puzzles. Much thanks Gumdrop! It really felt like I was down in the tombs there hunting for treasure.

Cistern is a very cool mission - a pleasant departure from the norm ( NORM!) - it was a pleasure to play it.

Yes, I have to agree that the cistern was a really good mission, and that the Tomb Raider allusion was a really cool idea.
Personally I tend to enjoy the city/mansion/explore FMs. But this one was a visual delight and definitely solvable. A pleasure to play Gumdrop, you should be proud of yourself, keep em comin.:thumb: :thumb:

since you all seem to finish it, one of you must be able to tell how you can find your way in that grate in the flooded area?
After a few times, trying to see a thing, and thus drwoning all the time I gave up...

Thanks to everyone that has posted or sent me an email regarding this FM. I would still build regardless of what people thaught of my work, but knowing that so many of you managed to latch on to what I was aiming for is a huge bonus. Cheers. :)

After a few times, trying to see a thing, and thus drwoning all the time I gave up... I think I replied to you over at Eidos a while ago, but my memory is frail at the best of times. If you
are still stuck there, I suggets altering your gamma settings a little. As I understand it, most players set their gamma so that in complete darkness, you can just about make out the texture detail on the walls. The underwater passage beyond the floor grate is unlit, but you should still be able to see the walls, and the incline at it's bottom that will take you back up to a new location.
I can't remember the ingame gamma keys, but I think they are maybe 0 & -

well, to me it didn't work quite well, if I make the game darker I can't even see my surrounding in a full lit room...
