I am completely stuck on this one.Can someone please give me a clue on A) getting through those double doors opposite the downstairs dining room and through into what I suppose is the main building( lockpicks don't work on itor Margarets or crypt key).Or do you climb through that upstairs attic window and jump across?( tried this no joy!).Also tried firing rope arrow up to outside balcony again no joy.B) Where oh where is Sylvias key or is it in the aforementioned part of the property I can't get into which accounts for why I can't find it? Sorry to appear thick but it's doing my head in and it's stopping me completing rest of mission and I guess it's obvious which makes it even more frustrating !!Thanks and help gratefully received.

You've obviously
found Margaret's little secret room with the safe. Did you climb the ladder to the small room above it? There's a window you can climb out and you just need to turn right. From there you can climb into the Master bedroom. Check the office room below it for Sylvie's key which I think might help you get farther into the mission.
Thank you Nightwalker! I did wonder about that attic window as I said in my original post. I guess I'd written it off because I can't seem to get through it what with the table in front which you don't appear to be able to pull yourself up on.Even tried shooting an arrow up into the ceiling to pull myself up on to no avail hence I started looking for a key, fruitlessly as I now realize!! guess I'll try again.thanks

I had no trouble getting up on the table. Did you try just mantling without using the "walk" or "run" key? Sometimes that works when the other way doesn't. You could also try looking for a box to stand on so you can just walk onto the table. Good luck!

yippee!! I made it thanks! I'd tried the usual routines like trying to stand on the box , running etc but did it at last by using an old trick I'd forgotten , holding the box then lifting myself through!my only excuse is that I've got a new laptop since I last played a FM so maybe I wasn't working the keyboard right. Thanks again for your help, it stopped me going mad!

Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable FM! I originally had a bit of trouble with finding the
crypt key down in the water
...I apparently missed it the first time, and when I went back there it was  . After that, things progressed nicely. I also enjoyed the
special bad guys (guardians)
- nice touch. And then I was still a little short on loot, but found
the ring on Sophie's windowsill
. Very fun!

Just finished! It's absolutely a great mission, really worth recommending.
Nice work ROFB :thumb: , I enjoyed it even more then your previous mission. Compliments for the details you put in the mission like architecture, secrets, atmosphere and some scarry enemies. Further a great story and some interesting ideas like
using the valve to get rid of the fire haunt
It was really a challenge. Found only 912 out of
1452
loot and 3 of the
5
secrets, so I'll have to replay it again later to try finding the rest.

Thank you very much The Phantom
It's always a pleasure to read such good comments :)
BTW I just finished T2X and if you want some REALLY GOOD scary missions, wait 'till missions 7 and 12. They're some of the finest I've had played.
