STUCK!! cannot find [SPOILER]key to what i think is sylvie's room...across from margeret's[/SPOILER]

I seem to have some troubles finding the key to the double doors.... I've crouched to check under it but there is nothing.

[spoiler]I managed to kill the fire haunt, and I found a red gem in the second floor of the library. (I didn't see anyone place it there; just found it later.) Then, while fooling around down in the crypt, I started across the broken bridge -- I'd already been down there once and gotten the sword -- and a haunt with a horned helmet -- the Devastator? -- appeared; I killed him with the sword, but I couldn't find any gem around there. But I have no idea where I'm supposed to find the stinky haunt, or how I use the two fetish dolls I have (which appear to work like keys... but where?)
I hope it's not in the area with the gas and the three or four zombies, as I don't know how to get through there without being spotted right away.[/spoiler]
Any suggestions?

It's probably obvious about where the walking gas factory should be, but... [SPOILER]you need to find a lever (yes that's the right area, but no need to choke yourself) and then remember to look up[/SPOILER]
The devastator's gem (green one) is actually kind of tough. [SPOILER]You'll find it after you've dealt with Senior Stink. Sometimes it helps to look back at the path you've already travelled. This area is loaded with secrets, so search it thoroughly. Some stuff is tough to find in the dark also. May have to up the gamma and/or brightness to see the path to the green gem. Most of the answers have been mentioned in the other spoilers in the thread too.[/SPOILER]
I'm having trouble figuring out the last secret (last for me, anyway): [SPOILER]In the broken bridge part, there's a secret passage leading from the bottom back up to the top, but across from the opening to this (at the bottom, but one level up) there's a little alcove with some sort of panel in the end of it. I know this has something to do with the last secret, but I can't find the lever. Perhaps this is the exit to a passage that starts much farther away?[/SPOILER] Can someone point me in the right direction?

Secrets I found so far on expert:
[spoiler]The safe in the attic.
The treasure room that opens by using the three gems.
The little secret in the treasure room itself.[/spoiler]
I've combed the mission to the point of annoyance but haven't found the last two. I'm also about 400 loot short, I finished with just 40 more than the requirement.

Master Garett: The tower key should be found in front of the doors next to carpet-covered stairs (west). Crouch and use the vision enlargement cause it's easy to overlook.
edit: oops, Maloo beat me. AND I've got the same problem: Where do I find that XXX key to open the xxx-ing dor on the upper level. All the zombies are disassembled by now, so there's nothing left for me to do than finally find it before I can do anything else - I know I'm somehow :tsktsk: near-sighted, so please do be graphic
